Around one-third (32.6%) of respondents to the Industry Report survey last year said they had plans to add staff in 2023. Another
65.6% said they were planning no changes to their staffing levels, and 1.8% had plans to reduce staff.
Parks were the most likely to indicate that they had plans to add staff at their facilities. Some 37.9% of parks respondents said they had such plans, though 60.5% were planning no changes. They were followed by Ys, where 36.3% of respondents had plans to add staff at their facilities.
Schools and colleges were the least likely to report that they had plans to add staff at their facilities.
