Gwen & Ken's Excellent Adventure

In August 2009, South Carolina State Parks employees Gwen Davenport and Kenneth Reed embarked on a journey to visit all 47 state parks in seven days. They chronicled their trek on Facebook, which helped them gain a cult following online and a little bit of media attention.

Davenport, the park system's sales and marketing manager, was kind enough to share a numerical breakdown of her excellent adventure with us:
