Pacific Yurts has installed a village of new 24-foot-diameter super yurts as rental structures at Umpqua Lighthouse State Park on the Oregon Coast overlooking Lake Marie. Designed for comfort and style, the super yurts feature wood cabinets, bathrooms with hot showers, fireplace heaters, kitchenettes and dining areas. They have already been reserved for months in advance, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts enjoy staying in the yurts after a day of kayaking, hiking and walking along the beach at sunset. To enhance its customer service, Pacific Yurts recently opened a 10,000-square-foot shipping addition to its manufacturing facility.

The Farley Group designs, manufactures, installs and services air structures for the sports and recreation industry. Farley domes feature a PVDF-coated, 28- or 32-ounce opaque or translucent, vinyl-coated polyester outer membrane with a 14-ounce acoustic insulating liner. All packages include metal halide lights, emergency and personnel entrance doors, furnace/inflators, construction drawings, and installation supervision. Options include 10-year lease financing, ADA-compliant personnel airlocks, vehicle airlocks, auxiliary power systems, remote ballast boxes, R-10 insulation, 15-year fabric and air conditioning. Costs per square foot of covered ground area depend on dimensions and equipment.
