SHELTERS & BUILDING STRUCTURES
Poligon®’s new Sherwood brings together cleanly powder-coated round steel columns, a paneled wood ceiling and eye-catching glulam trusses under a dual-pitched metal roof. The result is an attractive and inviting shelter fit for celebrating a wedding or hosting an ideal family picnic. The Sherwood’s panelized roof deck not only reduces interior condensation and expedites the erecting process, but also supports the span of the roof without additional columns. The Sherwood is available in a choice of 28 powder-coat colors, along with a variety of sizes. Players, coaches, umpires and fans are enjoying the newly renovated playing fields at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas. Long considered "the Sports Capital of Texas," Round Rock did everything in typical Texas style—big. Championship Field improvements feature a continuous shelter around the backstop to cover the scorer’s table and the bleachers. These modified monoslope shelters of differing heights feature custom steel ornamentation to designate the field. New dugouts have integrated chain-link protective fence in front and back. Roof decking is 2-by-6 Western Lodgepole Pine, used to keep the painted metal roofing from denting under the impact of foul balls.
