SHELTERS & BUILDING STRUCTURES

Stunning Shelter

The Ella and Charles E. Montfort Jr. Memorial Park was named for the owners of the house that stood on the property for more than 75 years. At the center of this new park is a shelter manufactured by ICON Shelter Systems Inc. This shelter, designed by Planning Design Studio in St. Louis, was modeled after the nearby Highlands train station, and some bricks from the Montfort house were used in the column masonry cladding.
