Sports Fields for Schools & School Districts

A majority of schools and school districts that responded to our Industry Report survey said their facilities currently include sports fields, but when it comes to additions, they are more likely to be planning to add synthetic turf fields. Currently, some 69.8 percent of school respondents have natural turf sports fields, while just 7.5 percent have synthetic turf fields. But in the next three years, among those who are planning to add amenities at their facilities, some 34 percent are planning to add synthetic turf fields, while just 7.5 percent will be adding natural turf sports fields.
