Updating your aquatic facility and programming without going overboard

By Kelli Anderson

What's new?

Visiting other newer aquatic facilities and asking for advice, learning what has worked and what hasn't will also help you make the best choices for your own site while avoiding costly mistakes.

Getting what the public wants these days, however, is part of the problem. Given the human tendency to demand more of everything, it still stands to reason that clients no longer settle for a boxy pool and set of shower stalls. The public wants what it sees in the burgeoning aquatic industry: zero-depth-entry designs, interactive water features, water slides, lazy rivers, wave pools and luxurious locker rooms. Not exactly design on a dime.
