Program Expansion

Offering a combination of core and creative programming will pack your pool and increase profits. Some ideas to consider:

  • Infant water-orientation classes and learn-to-swim programs for all ages
  • High-school and age-group swim meets
  • Water walking, water running, water kickboxing and other forms of aqua aerobic and strength-building workouts
  • Prenatal and post-natal mom and tot aqua fitness classes
  • Water yoga
  • Senior fitness days (offer blood-pressure testing and other health screenings free to the public and invite seniors to participate in a water fitness class)
  • Springboard diving lessons
  • Lap swimming
  • Scuba-diving lessons (for pools with at least 7 feet of water)
  • Basic kayaking skills classes
  • Physical and water therapy
  • Birthday parties and "dive-in" movie parties (guests watch family-friendly films from the flotation device of their choice)
  • Water polo matches
  • Synchronized swimming
  • Water relaxation floats
  • Triathlon training
  • Special Olympics
