Get Seating Where & When You Need It

When you want to be able to provide seating at any time and place, transportable bleachers are a great solution. Even if you have a permanent grandstand at your event location, movable bleachers can provide you with extra seating. The most successful events offer a comfortable seat for everyone. Temporary seating such as transportable bleachers can pay for itself as you boost attendance and revenues for your event programming.

Q: We have one main location with a grandstand, but we also manage events around the community. How can we provide seating at all of the locations where our events take place?

A: Take a look at the many portable bleacher units that are available. Towable units are available that can easily be moved from place to place to provide seating at a variety of events.

What's more, even if you already have a grandstand in place, it might not provide enough seating if the crowds attending your event grow over time. You can use portable bleachers alongside existing seating to create additional places for fans and spectators to sit. This saves any costs associated with rebuilding and replacing your grandstand, and at the same time, you get the extra benefit of having seating that can easily be transported to any event and location.

Q: We have an indoor arena where we host events in addition to our many outdoor events in the community. How can we expand seating indoors?

A: Look for smaller, highway-towable folding bleachers. At just 8.5 feet wide and 9 feet high, smaller bleachers can fit through many overhead entrance doors, and can be moved easily with a pickup or SUV.

These smaller units are great for indoor events, and can seat up to 108 people. But if you want a larger unit and you have taller overhead doors, you can find one that will seat as many as 300 people.

Talk to your supplier about your various seating needs, and they'll be able to match you with the transportable bleacher that will best serve your various events.

Q: We're worried about the costs of providing additional seating. How can we make transportable bleachers fit our tight budget?

A: There are many options available that will help your bleachers pay for themselves. You might talk with other organizations in your community about sharing the cost of the bleachers. For example, a sports league or park district might partner with a school district to purchase bleachers.

Another option is providing rentals of your bleacher unit when it's not in use. This provides a revenue stream that will keep padding your budget even after you've paid for the units.

You can also talk to local businesses in your community about placing banner advertising on the guardrails of the bleachers during events.

Q: We don't want to hire extra personnel to help us transport and set up bleachers every time we host an event. How can we reduce the staffing costs associated with setting up seating?

A: You're in luck! Towable, folding bleachers are easy to set up. You simply place the bleacher unit where you want it, run the leveling jacks down and push a button, which unfolds the bleacher. A single person can handle the entire process in less than 10 minutes.

No complex storage will be required either, when it comes time to put your bleachers away. Because they are made of weather-resistant aluminum and hot dip galvanized steel, you can usually just park the bleachers outside.
