Provide Attractive Shade Solutions in Dining & Seating Areas

Outdoor sites like parks, waterparks, sports centers and other recreational venues often provide outdoor dining, concessions and other seating areas. Managers of such sites can dramatically increase the comfort of their visitors by providing a little bit of shade. But you don't have to stop there. You can also enhance the aesthetics of your dining or seating area with beautifully designed shade options.

Q: We provide outdoor dining, and want to provide shade for our customers. What should we consider?

A: Providing shade for your patrons is a great idea, and you have plenty of options. Why not take a look at the many fabric shade structures that are available today? These structures are economical and durable, and provide an attractive element at your site. What's more, certain fabric topped structures allow rising hot air to escape, so they actually can provide cooler air than beneath a more expensive wood or metal shelter.

Shade structures are available in many shapes, sizes and colors, so you'll be sure to find an option that suits your site perfectly. And whether it's a fabric umbrella, a sail or something different, you'll also be protecting your patrons from sun exposure, with up to 99 percent UV screening.

Q: We'd like to provide shade for our seating areas, but we want something different that will really make the spot stand out.

A: Many aesthetically pleasing options in a rainbow of colors and array of shapes are available. Talk to your manufacturer about the different options.

Stunning structures with sculptural appeal will dynamically make your site stand out. A curved central support column with gracefully arched steel arms radiating outward to create a five-point tensioned shade canopy will make a bold statement. In addition, electrical accommodations are available for a beautiful nighttime effect enhancing the ambiance and drawing attention to your site.

Be sure to look for a shade structure that features easy removal and reattachment of the canopy. This ensures that you'll be able to move quickly in the event of inclement weather.
