Simplify Gym Storage

When you operate a gym or fitness facility, it can be difficult to work out methods for handling towel services and equipment storage. With mobile storage solutions, you can easily handle your smaller equipment needs, maintaining an orderly space.

Q: We have a towel service at our gym, but have a hard time keeping clean and dirty towels in order. What should we consider?

A: You can provide clean towels and collect used towels easily with a mobile collection cart that serves as a towel station. Look for a cart with shelves that are big enough to handle your daily needs. Wheels will help you move the cart to the right location at the start of the day, and will also enable you to roll all your used towels straight to the laundry service after the gym closes.

To be sure patrons don't mix up clean and dirty, be sure your towel station has signage indicating which towels are fresh, as well as where to return used towels.

You can find carts available in a variety of colors as well. This means that in addition to keeping your facility looking neat and orderly, you also can ensure your storage solutions are a good aesthetic fit. A vinyl cover on the cart can help keep towels clean and dry.

Q: We don't have a lot of storage space for managing the wide variety of equipment used in our fitness and sports programs. What can we do to simplify storage of this equipment?

A: From sports like basketball, volleyball, racquetball and more to functional fitness activities, your gym likely has a great deal of equipment to manage. If storage space is at a premium, it can be tricky to find what you need quickly before each program begins.

Look for wheeled storage carts that can be brought out when needed and easily rolled back away when the activity's finished.

Carts are available in a range of colors, making it simple to color-code your storage system, so you can quickly find exactly what's needed.
