According to the Aquatic Trends Report, respondents from Ys were the most likely both to have a lifeguard on duty at all
times, and to offer water safety programs. Some 96.7% of Y respondents said they had a lifeguard on duty at all times their aquatic facility was open, and 83.6% said they currently offer water safety programs.
All respondents were highly likely to have a lifeguard on duty at all times—84.4% said they did so. Following Ys, 92.2% of park respondents and 89.4% of college respondents said they had a lifeguard on duty at all times,
More than six in 10 (62.1%) of all respondents said they currently offer water safety programming at their facilities. Following Ys, 73.9% of school respondents and 65.1% of park respondents said they currently provide water safety programs at their facilities.
