Respondents to the Industry Report survey from YMCAs, YWCAs, JCCs and Boys & Girls Clubs were the most
likely to report a year-over-year increase in the number of people using their facilities in 2022. Some 84.4% of Y respondents said the number of people using their facilities increased in 2022. This compares with 60.4% of all respondents.
More than half of respondents from parks (67.8%), health clubs (66.2%), rec centers (63.4%) and camps (60.2%) also said the number of people using their facilities increased in 2022.
Respondents from schools and colleges were the most likely to report a decrease. Some 24.3% of school respondents and 22.4% of college respondents said the number of people using their facilities fell in 2022. This compares with 15.9% of all respondents.
