Respondents from parks and Ys were the most likely to report that they currently provide adaptive sports programs in their programming lineup. While 12.9% of all respondents said they currently offer adaptive sports programs, some 19% of Y respondents and 18.7% of parks respondents said they do so. Schools (14.3%) and rec centers (13.2%) were also more likely than other respondents to indicate that they provide adaptive sports programming.
Looking forward, respondents from rec centers were the most likely to be planning to add adaptive sports programs to their lineup over the next few years. Some 21.9% of rec center respondents with plans to expand their programming said they would be adding adaptive sports programs. They were followed by parks, 19% of whom said they would be adding adaptive sports programs. Some 14.2% of all respondents with plans to expand their program lineup over the next few years said they would be adding adaptive sports programs.
