A majority of respondents to the Aquatic Trends survey indicate that they currently allow other organizations to rent their
facilities. More than three-quarters (78.1%) of respondents said they allow outside organizations to rent their aquatic facilities. Just 21.9% said they do not rent their facilities at all.
Most commonly, private citizens (65.2%) are allowed to rent facilities. Nearly half (48.9%) rent their facilities to companies or businesses, and more than half (52.4%) said they rent their facilities to other organizations. One-fifth (20%) said they currently rent their facilities to USA Swimming club teams.
