Toro recently introduced the eProStripe® 560 at the 2024 Sports Field Management Association (SFMA) Conference and Trade Show. Equipped with two 60V Lithium-Ion battery, this electric striper brings Toro’s popular ProStripe line into the age of electrification.
Thanks to Toro’s Flex-Force Power System™ battery technology, the lightweight, superb collection and striping performance capabilities are further enhanced by low sound and vibration levels, as well as zero engine emissions from the 60V Lithium-Ion powered eProStripe. For added convenience, the same batteries can be used to power Toro’s entire line of Flex-Force hand tools and equipment, maximizing versatility and productivity for your grounds crew. Each Flex-Force battery is designed to run cooler, enabling all-day use without overheating.
“In professional sports field maintenance, high-definition stripes can take an ordinary field to something extraordinary,” says Chris Cooper, senior product marketing manager at Toro. “By introducing the eProStripe 560, this tool can meet both the demands of the job at hand while meeting emission regulations and usability with other tools in their fleet.”
The eProStripe 560 features a two-piece rear roller design, which allows zero-turn capability while helping eliminate turf damage. The ribbed profile provides superior traction, even in wet conditions. Additionally, the MatchDrive™ variable speed electric transmission offers a greater speed range to operators while also allowing fine-tuning to suit conditions and a consistent cut when using multiple units. The system provides three preset speeds, consistent with the mechanical drive on the ProStripe, plus an additional variable speed option.
