Surf Park Central announced that submissions have opened for the 2024 Surf Park Awards. The annual event is part of Surf Park Summit and honors leaders and innovators who help make the world of surf parks a booming industry.
Any person or organization related to the industry can apply for a select category along with a written statement or video explaining why their work is helping to revolutionize the future of human-made waves. The categories align with Surf Park Central’s mission to bring sustainable waves to all.
Categories Include:
● Sustainability: This category recognizes the efforts of those who are contributing to the creation of environmentally conscious surf parks, reducing their carbon footprint, and implementing sustainable practices in their operations.
● Innovation: The Innovation award applauds those individuals and organizations who are driving this industry forward through their innovative ideas and practices.
● Accessibility: This award category recognizes the parks and organizations within our industry that are breaking down these barriers and providing opportunities for people from all walks of life to experience the thrill of surfing, regardless of access or ability.
● Summit Leadership: This award acknowledges this company's or individual's ability to inspire others and to drive change through their visionary ideas and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Applications are open to all companies and individuals involved in surf park developments, including owners, operators, designers, technology manufacturers, and industry suppliers. In honor to submit, they must complete the application on this page.
Winners will be announced on the final day of Surf Park Summit. The annual event brings together industry leaders and developers from around the world from September 30 to October 2, 2024, in San Diego, California.
