Respondents to the 2024 Industry Report survey from Ys and parks were the most likely to report that they currently host youth
sports programs at their facilities. While 57.1% of all respondents said they currently have youth sports programs, that number jumps to 79.2% for Y respondents and 75.7% of park respondents. At least two-thirds of respondents from rec centers (70%) and from schools and school districts (66.7%) also said they currently include youth sports in their programming lineups.
Looking forward, some 14.1% of respondents who plan to expand their program offerings said they would be adding youth sports programs. Respondents from Ys were the most likely to be planning to add youth sports programs (23.3%), followed by respondents from rec centers (17.5%).
