Respondents to the Industry Report survey from park districts and departments were slightly more likely than other respondents to
indicate that they were planning to add staff in 2024.
Some 30.3% of parks respondents said they had plans to increase staff levels in 2024, compared with 26% of all other respondents. Just over two-thirds (67.1%) of parks respondents said they were planning to maintain their current level of staff, while 72.2% of non-park respondents were planning to keep staff levels unchanged.
Only 2.6% of parks respondents said they were planning to reduce staff in 2024, compared with 1.8% of non-parks respondents.
