More than half (55.5%) of respondents to the Industry Report survey said they currently offer arts and crafts programs, while 30.5%
host performing arts programs.
Respondents from rec centers were the most likely to have arts and crafts programs—71.1% of rec center respondents said they host arts and crafts. They were followed by Ys (68.8%) and parks (68.1%).
Respondents from schools were the most likely to have performing arts programs, with 41.7% of school respondents indicating they currently host performing arts programming at their facilities. They were followed by parks (41.5%) and rec centers (38.9%).
Looking forward, 17.7% of respondents are planning to add arts and crafts programs in the next several years, and 13.2% are planning to add performing arts.
