Well over half (58.6%) of respondents to the 2025 Aquatic Trends survey said that they currently offer water safety training programs
at their facilities. Respondents from Ys (70.7%) and rec centers (70.2%) were most likely to have water safety training in place at their facilities, while respondents from camps (19%) were least likely to host water safety training.
Looking forward, just 5.4% of respondents said they were planning to add water safety training programs to their facilities over the next several years. Rec centers were the most likely to have such plans, with 8.5% of these respondents indicating they would add water safety training. They were followed by parks, where 5.1% of respondents were planning to add water safety training to their aquatic program lineup.
