Parks, Camps Lead on Conservation, Nature Connection Initiatives

Respondents to the Industry Report survey from parks were the most likely to be involved in conservation initiatives, while thoseGRAPH from camps were the most likely to be involved in initiatives to connect people with nature.

Slightly less than a quarter (23.8%) of all respondents to the survey said their organizations were involved in conservation and green initiatives. For parks, that number rises to 34.6%, making them the most likely of all respondents to have involvement in conservation initiatives. They were followed by camps, where 32.7% of respondents claimed that their organizations were involved in conservation.

More than a quarter (26.3%) of all respondents to the survey said their organizations were involved in programs to connect people with nature. Camps lead that charge, with a full 50% of respondents from camps indicating they were involved in nature connection initiatives. They were followed by parks (37.3%), rec centers (22.9%) and colleges (22.3%).
