The U.S. Soccer Foundation and Stand Together Foundation today announced the launch a new platform, YesCoach.com, to support the Yes, Coach!™ national movement. Yes, Coach! is dedicated to equipping 100,000 coaches with the tools to mentor over three million young people both on and off the field.
The platform offers free, innovative trainings that provide people – ranging from novice volunteers to experienced coaches – with the practical skills and strategies to become role models, support young people, and strengthen communities.
In addition to the new platform, the initiative’s founding partners are joined by an extraordinary coalition of organizations bringing their resources, reach, and capabilities to supercharge the movement:
- Miami, New York New Jersey and Philadelphia FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committees – Leveraging their commitment to ensure the tournament leaves a positive and lasting impact for local communities, they’re helping connect members of their communities to Yes, Coach! and helping to train more coaches as mentors.
- Comcast NBCUniversal & Telemundo – Telemundo will serve as the official Spanish-language partner and play a pivotal role in expanding access to the campaign by delivering culturally relevant training resources and a dedicated Spanish-language platform to empower coaches as mentors nationwide. In addition, Comcast NBCUniversal’s Creative Impact Lab will collaborate with creative apprentices from nonprofit agency Wide Angle Youth Media to produce a bilingual PSA for Yes, Coach! The PSA will air ahead of the World Cup, amplifying the campaign’s mission and reach.
- MENTOR – Bringing deep experience in youth mentorship to strengthen the mentoring movement and building capacity to make high-quality relationships accessible to all young people, MENTOR will work with the U.S. Soccer Foundation to provide Coach-Mentor Training and amplify the Yes, Coach! movement to its national network of partners.
- MetLife Foundation – Driven by its commitment to uplift communities around the globe through a focus on economic mobility, MetLife Foundation is expanding its efforts to empower individuals through mentoring and coaching by supporting Yes, Coach! in the New York and New Jersey region and markets where MetLife has a presence.
- Imagine Entertainment – Through the upcoming documentary Summer of 94, Imagine Entertainment is helping to inspire Americans by telling the powerful story of a legendary coach and a remarkable group of players who changed the course of U.S. soccer. Through this film, and its connection to Yes, Coach!, Imagine is providing audiences with a path to carrying that legacy forward.
“The launch of this new platform and the support of these new partners will help us ensure more children experience the life-changing benefits provided by trained coach-mentors,” said Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. “When leaders across sport, media, and philanthropy unite around a shared mission, we unlock new opportunities for kids to grow, thrive, and feel supported. Together, we’re equipping coaches to build confidence, character, and connection—creating ripple effects that will strengthen communities for generations.”
“The new Yes, Coach! platform provides an on-ramp for coaches who want to do even more to help bring out the best in their players, both on and off the field.” said Brian Hooks, chairman and CEO of Stand Together. “As the 250th anniversary of our country approaches and all eyes are on the United States during the World Cup, they’re setting an incredible example for everyone who is looking to make a difference in their community.”
Building off the momentum of FIFA World Cup 26™ and other major sporting events, Yes, Coach! partners are uniting to empower everyday heroes who are already stepping up across the country. Together, they are building a movement to ensure every child has the chance to be seen, supported, and inspired by a coach who believes in them.
“As the exclusive Spanish-language broadcaster of FIFA World Cup 26™, we’re committed to leaving an indelible mark on the next generation of fans and communities all over the world—those who watch, dream, and then take action to grow through mentorship and coaching,” said Christina Kolbjornsen, Senior Vice President, Corporate and External Affairs of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. “Through the Yes, Coach! (Sí, Coach en español) initiative, we’re proud to support the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s mission to equip 100,000 coaches with the tools to guide over 3 million young people, both on and off the field. This partnership reflects our deep belief in the power of sport to inspire, uplift, and transform lives.”
“FIFA World Cup 26™ is about more than the on-field action – it’s about building a legacy that lives on in our communities for generations to come,” said Meg Kane, Host City Executive/CEO of Philadelphia Soccer 2026. “The U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Yes, Coach! initiative and its new platform further support that commitment, providing coaches with access to much-needed resources that will shape the soccer stars of tomorrow on and off the pitch.”
“Our goal is for young people to remember the FIFA World Cup 2026 as a moment that included and inspired them,” said Alex Lasry, CEO, New York New Jersey FIFA World Cup 2026 Host Committee. “The NYNJ Host Committee is proud to support Yes, Coach! because we believe the true legacy of this tournament will be measured not only in economic impact, but in how it strengthens our communities, creates opportunity, and empowers young people to see themselves in the future of the game.”
“Every young person deserves a mentor, and coaches are often perfectly positioned to fill that role,” said Jermaine Myrie, CEO of MENTOR. “This partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation is an exciting step toward making that a reality for more kids across the country.”
