Respondents to the 2025 Industry Report survey from Ys and parks were the most likely to report that they currently offer programs
for active older adults. While 44.4% of all respondents said they currently provide such programming, that number rises to 77.6% for Ys and 61.5% for parks. More than half of respondents from health clubs (53.3%) and rec centers (50.6%) also said that they currently include programs for active older adults in their offerings.
Looking forward, among respondents with plans to add any kind of programming at their facilities, 16.1% said they are planning to add programs for active older adults. Respondents from schools (23.8%) and camps (20%) were the most likely to include active older adult programs in their plans. They were followed by parks (18.9%) and rec centers (18.2%)
