Respondents to the Industry Report survey from Ys were slightly more likely to express concerns about staffing than other respondents, but they were slightly less likely to be concerned about equipment and facility maintenance. While 52.5% of all respondents
said they saw staffing as a top challenge, for Ys, that number rises to 58.6%. On the other hand, the top concern for all respondents was equipment and facility maintenance, with 59.8% naming it a top concern, while slightly fewer respondents from Ys (55%) said that equipment and facility maintenance was a top concern.
Respondents from Ys were also more likely to see safety and risk management as a challenge (40.5% of Ys, vs. 31% of all respondents), as well as creating new and innovative programming (31.5% vs. 26.4%).
