Nearly two-thirds (64.8%) of park respondents to the Industry Report survey said that the number of people using their facilities was
higher in 2024 than in 2023. This is down slightly from 2023, when 67.9% of park respondents reported an increase in the number of people visiting their parks. For 2024, another 31.8% of respondents said there was no change to the number of people using their facilities, and just 3.4% reported a decrease.
Park respondents surveyed in early 2025 expected that year to yield a similar result, with 65.7% expecting usage of their facilities to increase, 30.1% expecting no change, and 4.2% expecting a decrease.
Looking forward, 62.2% of park respondents are expecting the number of people using their facilities to increase in 2026, while 36.8% anticipate no change, and just 1% are expecting a decrease.
