Austin Looper has been with Westlake Corporation for more than 25 years, serving in various capacities within the Chlor-Alkali business, including plant operations, sales, new product development and business management. Much of his time has been focused on the establishment of distribution networks, developing chlorination systems and uncovering new markets. In his current role, Looper is responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic direction for the groups’ suite of chlorination and pH adjustment systems. Looper holds a chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
David Nance is the senior manager for NSF’s Electrical Safety and Recreational Water Programs. He works with NSF’s global testing, auditing and certification services certifying food and water equipment and appliances to electrical safety standards and recreational water products to pool and spa standards. Nance has 15 years of experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry, and holds a bachelor of science and engineering in materials science from the University of Michigan.
