Can You See the Light?

By the time you're reading this, our 15th annual State of the Industry Report, much of the country will be reopened and on a (hopefully) rapid road back to business as usual. As I write this, states are gradually reducing or removing their restrictions. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, and we're just about there.

If you've been reading Recreation Management for a while, you'll be ready for what's in these pages. If not, let me introduce you to our annual special research issue. Based on our in-depth, 50-question survey of nearly 1,400 professionals for parks, recreation, sports, fitness and aquatic facilities, this report takes a broad look at industry trends, covering topics from revenues and operating budgets to construction spending, staff plans, programming trends and more. We ask respondents to give us the details on how things look currently at their facilities, as well as projecting what's to come over the next year or two.
