ASBA Announces Publication of New Track Construction Manual

The American Sports Builders Association (ASBA), the national organization for builders, designers and suppliers of materials for athletic facilities, announced the publication of its 11th edition of Running Tracks: A Construction and Maintenance Manual.

Camps Lead the Way on Construction

According to the 2022 State of the Industry Report, 70.5% of all respondents had plans for construction, whether they were planning to build brand-new facilities, or make additions or renovations to their existing facilities. Camps were the most likely to have such plans, with 92.1% of camp respondents indicating they were planning construction.

New Partnership Aims to Grow Flag Football

NIRSA: Leaders in Collegiate Recreation established a new partnership with RCX Sports, the official operating partner of NFL Flag, that seeks to enhance intramural and club flag football. With a goal of increasing flag football participation, programming and training across college campuses in the intramural and club sports arenas, this collaboration will enhance NIRSA’s flag football tournaments, both regionally and nationally, as well as help train officials.
